Indio Drug Rehab

Looking for an Indio Drug Rehab in CA?

Drug addiction. It is something that many people suffer with in silence, and very few people who struggle with addiction receive treatment.

For those of you in Southern California, there can be a lot of fun, but also many temptations and a lot of pressure to make dreams come true.

If you are reading this, you probably have asked yourself, where do I find an Indio drug rehab? Or, you ask where there is one near you?

One option you may not have considered is an Indio drug rehab. But, what you might find is that there aren’t very many options available to you. It may be your better option to go south to Southern California Sunrise in Orange County.

Here is your guide to finding the best Indio drug rehab.

Where is Indio?

Indio is located two hours east of Los Angeles. You may have never heard of the city, but most of you have probably heard of two places right next door to it.

Adjacent to Indio is Joshua Tree National Park, known for its desert. Also, there is Coachella, the site of one of the biggest music festivals in the country every year.

In the city itself, you can play 18 holes on a golf course, try your luck at a casino, admire out, visit a ranch, and more

Indio has plenty of nature escapes within its city limits and a few more famous ones a stone’s throw away to provide a calming environment and natural energy boost.

The city of Indio is great, but the problem we have found when it comes to finding an Indio drug rehab is that there aren’t too many around. Read on to find out what makes a good drug rehab and where your best option may be.

Main Drug Addictions Treated

Some of the main types of drugs dealt with for addiction treatment include opioids, cocaine, xanax, meth, and even marijuana.

An alarming statistic is that almost 70% of overdose deaths in California had opioids play a part. If used long enough, the body will no longer produce natural dopamine and endorphins, so it forces you to be more dependent on it and keep using it.

Cocaine can be very difficult to recover from as well due to newly developed pathways for dopamine. The drug essentially makes you have the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, a big swing of emotion.

Xanax is a drug that will require a higher and higher use to get the same feelings from. To get treated, it will have to start with a medication-assisted detox. Withdrawals from this, if not closely monitored, can cause seizures and perhaps more.

Meth can change the body both physically and mentally. Physically, it affects the heart and nervous system that also leads to seizures. It can even cause heart attacks and strokes. Mentally, the drug can cause a large amount of anxiety and depression.

Marijuana is admittedly not physically damaging like some of the others above. However, it can still change the way you behave emotionally if it is not monitored and can interfere with some everyday activities if not contained.

Programs for Treatment

There are four main parts of treatment offered for Indio drug rehab.

The first is detox. This can be the most difficult part as you have to physically adjust your body to not being on whatever drug you were dependent on. In severe cases, it can even lead to seizures, and heart attacks, as said above.

More serious addicts will require inpatient drug rehab. This is when you have to stay in a rehab center overnight. This requires a bigger separation from your old environment, and thus a bigger commitment.

If you cannot afford to stay because of price or time, or if you do not feel like you are a serious enough case to need to stay overnight, outpatient rehab is available. That is when you still live at home but still come to the facility almost daily for treatment, therapy, and other activities.

As for therapy itself, there is one-on-one therapy, group therapy, and families and couples therapy available for you.

Also, there are treatments available to focus on behavior and mindset. Two of the main types of behavioral therapy offered are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

For the mind, meditation is highly encouraged in Indio, especially with the natural surroundings nearby. Physically, yoga is also offered not only to relax the mind but relax the body as well.

These are all ways to try and significantly reduce anxiety, depression, and mental need for drugs, all of the leading causes of addiction.

Cost and Insurance

A lot of you are probably wondering what the cost of treatment is. And if you can even afford it.

Luckily, one option for those who have the price as a major factor is to go through insurance to get the treatment you need. All major insurances are accepted, including Humana, Blue Cross, Cigna, First Health, and ComPsych.

For other major insurance companies, some are in-network, including but not limited to MHN, Aetna, Magellan, Anthem, and Tricare. Best of all, there is free insurance verification if you are not sure if your insurance plan would cover addiction treatment.

Some treatment plans from certain centers have quotes that add up to tens of thousands of dollars. That can be intimidating and can deter people from getting the treatment that you need.

It is important to know that there are options out there through your health insurance and that doing some verification research can make or break the direction you go the rest of your life.
